the problem with customer service... is that you don't get it when you need it the most

Dinnered with alf and buddy tan that day at NYDC. Just becoz I did not have a pen with me, I forgo the chance of writing in their feedback card.

Met alf earlier and we decided to go to the NYDC at wheelock first coz it was a Friday and we were afraid we might have to queue if we wait for buddy tan.

At about 7pm, we went NYDC and told the gal we needed table for 3. She asked us where’s our third friend and we said she’s on her way here about 15-20min later. She then told us she can’t give us a table for 3 coz she’s expecting a crowd later and we don’t have a friend with us. Siao!!!!
She’s mad. Crazy.

She said she could give us a table for 2 first. ???!! Who needs a table for 2! Think candlelight dinner huh. Seeing we’re not very interested, she asked us to leave first and come back with our 3rd fren later and she WILL give us a table for 3…and she kept repeating “ya..you all come back with your 3rd fren and I WILL give you a table for 3.”

I told her like what’s the point of us coming earlier then? We came earlier so that later anna can come and join us straight and no need to queue. Isn’t it first come 1st served? If people come late and gotta Q, that’s their problem. It’s not as if anna is not coming and we just want a 4 seater table for fun. She wants to forego out biz to make other peoples’ biz.. are we not biz for them???

I was quite pissed and she just replied “ ok.. I go and clear the table for you” so er3. we decided to order some finger food first while waiting and sure enough, there was a Q at 7 plus.. that stupid gal kept looking at us and finally she cant tahan no more and asked when is our fren coming, if not she’ll let the table out. What the ****!! So alf said he’ll call anna. So poor anna was stressed so badly and it’s totally not what we wanted coz there was a bitch stressing us.

So when anna finally came at 7.30pm.. (it was not very late in my opinion)..we purposely waved at her for her to take our orders… look look.. we are not ‘cheating’ you…we’re ordering something and our fren is here…koko desu.. mi raremasu ka???

anyways, not very impressed by her service coz her logic for arranging tables to cater to peak periods is so so wrong. Chigau. Chigau.

Baking cookies now.. again..hope they turn out right this time!
