World Cup just started

World Cup just started not too long ago and I’m already getting the full effects of the fever.

Naz gotta reach home by 9pm to catch the 1st match. And after reaching home, he doesn’t have time to bathe till it’s half time. After the match at about 11pm, I’ll talk to him for like 10min as he needs to take a nap for like 50min before watching the next match at 12am…all the way till 4am. 50min where got enough… you’ll only feel more lethargic after napping, I told him. But 50min is better than nothing, he replied. Okie noted. Fever talk.

Like what one of the ads I saw on World Cup, where a group of strangers of different nationalities, meeting for the 1st time, broke the ice by playing soccer and then they behaved as if they had known each other for 10 years. Doshite?

I realized the word football is replaceable. Can change to Harry’s Pie for example. I think everybody loves Harry’s pie.

Could be psychological..but I got the feeling that it is for the same reason that I noticed a lot of guys sleeping soundly in the train this morning.

There’s this World Cup Adidas Ad displayed at Orchard MRT..You’ll spot it when you’re taking the escalator down to the trains. You can’t miss Beckham’s smiling at you la.

A little boy standing in front of a whole group of famous soccer stars choosing players for his team. Feel like stealing the poster home man…Beckham looks so good. At the same time, it conjured the image of soccer being cool and stylo coz of the way the ad was shot. Nice cast and interesting message. Will probably catch the England matches at least. Keke.
Dunno why mention Beckham I’ll think of Pan Lingling who named her kid Beckham. Eeeeks. Like Beckham Huang.  Cannot la.

Poor kid. A stressful childhood welcoming him with open arms~.
