Qn: What do you think could be the most possible reason if a friend whom you haven’t been keeping in contact with, suddenly calls you to ask you out for a meal?? And sounded so eager to make an appointment with you… what’s your guess?
~My guess is: to borrow money. Sorry, but that’s cynical me. Maybe influenced by the stories I heard from my mum about friends or relatives who only look for her when they need a favor from her. She told me that’s the adult world. Practical and all about money. Okie. Noted.
Secondly, to intro me to join MLM. They call it Multi-layer marketing. I’ve got a few friends who asked me out in the name of catching up and end up listening to their sales speech for 1 hour which ended with an invitation to visit the MLM office. Sorry ah. This kind of lobang count me out. Unless you are interested to see my disinterested face.
