Shucks.

Gotta buy some digital Chinese dictionary (wanted to write “digital dic” in short actually but thought it sounded quite suggestive.. hence..amended!) for my tuition kid. I still think the good ole book dictionary is more user friendly. Exams nearing..where got time to learn how to use the dictionary.. so many buttons and all. Gotta waste time learning how to use the functions also. warui.
Anyway, the parents say ok then I’ll just be the purchaser. Keep forgetting to get it..urgh. alarm needed.

My tuition kid asked me to teach faster ahead of what the school teacher is teaching. I told him frankly that this is not what a tutor should do. I am here to reinforce what he had learnt and to clear whatever doubts he has, making sure he gets sufficient practice for all the topics.

I always believe in Practice makes perfect. Do more, read more, practise more and in most circumstances, memorise. Sad but true, I got through school by doing loads of memorizing..in science, chemistry, history…except for Math and PE.

He can’t even do questions from his current topics and still request me to go faster.?! Ya rite. Told him if he can answer every single question from “Living Things Reproduce” before I’ll go into “Energy”. He just nodded after my super inspiring and taihen enlightening explanation. Mm. Good boy.

Taking leave tomorrow..yay!! but still gotta wake up early for CPT!! Hope I pass lor..if not quite paiseh. Think I gotta practise speaking Mandarin from now onz. Onz. I mean in perfect mandarin.

Still feel pissed that I watched every single episode of heart flower blooms and I actually missed the last episode yesterday. Okay. Correction. I didn’t miss it. I programmed to tape it at 1.10am and went to sleep. But my usual practice would be to place a huge note in front of the tv asking ppl not to change the channel coz I’m taping from 1.10am. ya. My VCR quite stupid la.. can only tape the channel which the viewer is watching. When I woke up, the channel was changed!..ahhhh.. nani mo nai. Zen zen nani no nai…..
