and the winner is............

Apart from laughing at the contestants for Miss Singapore Universe during the question and answer section, I really gotta admire their courage. Okay, before I pay kudos to them, must laugh first.

One of the contestant called jeanette chose a question given by a polytechnic student. Her question was, “With regards to the recent sex video circulation as result of a lost mobile phone, what do you think of the moral standards of teenagers nowadays?”

I thought this was one of the easier questions.. can answer like it’s fine to be more westernized due to media influences etc…but must know what they are doing and the consequences of their actions and be able to accept full responsibility…blah blah..those standard answers.

This gal apparently got very nervous and shy about the topic that she couldn’t stop giggling while expressing her views… aiyo. The main casts of the video are not a little bit shy about taking the video lor, doshite you shy???! Her answer was that it’s fine to circulate the video on the internet and through hp. ??!?!!!!! (-_-ll) think she never read news leh…it seems that from her answer, she thought the video was voluntarily circulated by the couple… scary thought.

Anyways, thought Jade Seah was so so pretty and quick witted! Too bad she didn’t win..sighzz.

The 2nd round of qn and ans was horrendous. Coz of the stupid qn… “Why do you think local men seems less attractive than foreign men?” it’s such a duh qn. Bad qn. Quite easy to spot the bimbos from this round. Haha..

The next star answer to this qn was
“ I prefer local men. Becoz, all my previous boyfriends are locals. They’re not very tall (contestant paused, to create suspense), not very well-built (contestant paused, to create suspense )and some even a bit plump (contestant paused, to create suspense).. BUT ( contestant paused, to create suspense), the main point is (contestant paused, to create suspense) ……………….* everyone waiting in anticipation*…………… I still love them a lot!”

so anti-climax to the max. Plus super cold… her answer was followed by awkward silence on the stage, among the studio audience and as well as in the homes of those watching terebi. Great influence I would say.

Complain complain..but would I dare do it anot. Of coz not! Haha..

I’ve got stage fright ever since I was young… everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Will never forget how I read out my partner’s part of the speech instead of my own. I even highlighted in neon yellow, y part of the speech and practiced it umpteen times. Not only did I malu myself, the worst part was that I caused severe shock to my partner who couldn’t find his line coz I took his.

So loads of courage needed to be on stage and you need a strong jaw too, to hold that darlie smile.
