As we are tipped off balance juggling time and love
What is too much and too little
Putting 2 different individuals’ expectations on a scale
Finding no basis for comparison
Whether to give in or adapt to demands
Both are equally difficult
Words come out wrong the more we try to explain
Hurt inflicted and. Pain.
Rest assured I hear you
I hope you’ll say the same too
No one is to blame for driving each other insane
To give and take is easy to say
Which I tried but you failed me all the same
For the reasons I find so bizarre
I’ll just roll my eyes and retake.
.. I thought my poetry is quite good…but Sharon san said the last line spoilt it all…which I totally beg to differ. Sharon san.. do you not remember that your English Lit got lower grade than me?! Wahhaha.
Was something which I felt sometime ago but we’ve talked about it and got it ironed out… errr…hopefully. Haha.. now the relationship is stronger than before I feel. Realised that being honest about how you feel is very important and how it can erase the sense of insecurity or uncertainty that arises when you keep all the mind boggling questions to yourself.
The main point is, I think I really got a flair in poetry.
