Received an sms yesterday from maria that a gunman had killed a guy in at serangoon and is still on the loose…asked me to be careful when going home. Must be the recent case about a gunman who tried to rob the 4D auntie which inspired a few others to do the same thing. I think its very stupid to use guns to commit crimes in Singapore. Singapore is so small, sooner or later you’ll be found and the best place to hide is probably in one of the longkangs in some neighbourhood. Unless you’re a rich criminal with a private jet plane waiting to pick you up..which would be quite an irony.
Anyways, was just packing my stuff for my last day tomorrow. My boss told me “waaa..you pack so early ah” I just said “oh, since I’m free now so I pack lor.”
Actually, I plan to bring everything home today. Oops. Showed my intense anticipation to leave as well. Well.
Maybe I was too excited about tomorrow, I ended up having a fever and sore throat last night which persisted throughout the day today. Felt like shit and hope it’ll get better by tomorrow.
Once tomorrow ends, think my excitement will definitely die down with the thought of having to job hunt all over again. This time, no way am I accepting a job hastily.
