When I was in the theatre watching trailers of the upcoming movies, I thought I had made a mistake in coming to watch Final Destination 3. Sequels are usually disappointing, especially sequals of horror flicks. When the show started, I was even more sure it’s gonna be a disappointment when I saw the teenagers screaming in the coasters and playing at the amusement park. Like nothing new lo, they will die 1 by 1. I know.
It wasn’t until those who escaped death started dying in sequence and how the signs of their death were implied in the pictures they took. This show has definitely maintained its standard in how they plotted each one’s death. Super duper gross.. my “favorite” was how the bimbos died in the tanning shell.. the worst kind.
OKIE! So everyone should go and watch this show!! Heh
After the movie, we went to this place called Essential Brews at Holland V. They have this launching party where u pay like $20 to sample their new dishes and includes a buffet as well. I was kinda skeptical coz I’ve gone to that place before and their stuff not very cheap one. going to expect an unsatisfying meal. But naz die die wants to go coz he knows the MD and so that he can better work relations with him……he’s just so right for marketing. Not me though.
Well, the buffet was good. And some of their new dishes are nice too. Except for this nutmeg prawns. I tell you, nutmeg just doesn’t go in savoury dishes. I like them in the preserved form. And also, they have this new drink using Chai Tea. This chai thingy is a kind of spice like cinnamon pattern kind. It’s either you like it or hate it. and I happen to hate it. I remembered I ordered it in coffee bean before once and I’ll never forget the taste man. Taste Indian to me. <<== personal view on taste, not being racist here.ahem.
Oh yes! Signed up kickboxing with Sharon and zhe san ..looking forward to that. Finally Sharon has overcome her fear for exercise.. *eyes roll* and decide to join us in maintaining a healthy lifestyle…after like 25 years. Yay.
