___Walking then...walking now and will be still walking___

~***THE BIG WALK 2006!!***~~

Sunday was health and fitness day which nearly didn’t come true. Naz and me were contemplating on going for the Big Walk coz we gotta wake up at like 5 plus and travel all the way to kallang.. After convincing ourselves that we need the exercise, we decided to go anyway.

It was quite fun for an experience but the crowd was scary. Haha.. but with prior experience in organizing big walks, the shuttle service was efficient and orderly. Good ne! saw lots of cute doggies there too which temporarily distracted me from the headache I had. By a quarter of the walk, my fever symptoms were almost gone liao.. initially did feel cold but after perspiring, it was all gone! Yay.

7.30am we started off and we finished the 10km route at about 10am… ! sugoi! Headed off to the food stalls to buy food and drinks and to collect our goodie bags after which we discovered a new way to go home from the stadium. Short and comfy bus + train ride. The last thing we want to do is to walk.

~~~*** THE DA VINCI CODE***~~~
Washed up at my place and caught some sleep before proceeding to town to catch Da Vinci Code with sharon san and zhe san and zhe san’s sis.
Enjoyed the movie coz I like Tom Hanks. Heh. And also the book. The pace of the book was already very fast and to make it into a 2 and a half hour movie, you can imagine how things were further sped up. Not bad overall.. though I thought the movie’s ending attempted to make the book less religiously controversial. Movies are a more powerful form of media afterall, with visual and sound effects. Hence, the try to make the message alittle more subtle.
After the movie, I felt super sleepy… maybe coz also the movie’s ending abit draggy. . nobody felt like having dinner and so we all headed home. Got Singapore idol on. Watched it and totally wasted my time.. those contestants are just trying to behave stupid to gain attention. Eeks. Daniel Og sucks as well. Think he should jus stick to radio-ing.
Slept at 10pm.. tired but with a sense of achievement on what I’ve accomplished
