in the Q @ subway

Had my 1st “real bread” in 2 weeks!! Ate subway Spicy Italian.. oishii… but tummy super bloated coz not used to eating a full meal and so much carbo. Errr. The free cookie was given to sharon san, courtesy of me. She apparently liked it a lot and I couldn’t stomach it liao.

Wa..must complain!! We spent 20min Q-ing coz of some stupid inconsiderate invisible customer who ordered like 10 subs. Invisible coz he wasn’t there physically. Must have placed his order and left to collect later. Inconsiderate coz .. it’s just so inconsiderate! Everybody was q-ing and wondering why the q hardly moved. Only when we moved closer to the panel then we saw 10 pieces of subs in preparation. But the staff also very slow la.. just putting in cooked food only and rolling the bread.. what sauce for you sir?.. How long can it take rite. And also, thanks to subway’s recent promo to encourage customers to toast their bread… more time wasted in toasting to enjoy the daily offer.

I think it’s weird. Why promote ppl to toast their bread? Why give incentive to only ppl who choose to toast their bread? Just doesn’t make any sense to me la. Yes. Maybe it taste nicer warmed. But it’s not like they’re promoting it coz toasted bread is healthier.

Simply wakaranai. If I don’t toast, does it make me a more worthless customer who’s not worthy of any promo? Weird ne. Normal gimmick would be maybe if you buy a sub and plus add a soup, you get a bundled price or a free cookie. That makes sense. Aiya. Don’t know la. The most logical reason I can think of is that maybe toasted bread kills the bacteria in ham and meat which they just leave out in the open so that makes it healthier. Okie. This weird discussion shall stop here.
