I live to eat

Went to this HK style café called “TongShui Café” yesterday @54 Zion Rd…jus beside Great World city . courtesy of juli’s recommendation… decided to try it since I like HK food. Getting there was terrible as we drove there and both me and naz had no idea where it was and coz every road was 1 way which means lots of huge detours when we make a wrong turn.. urghz. Plus! I haven’t eaten for the whole day and my stomach dam itai.. guess it was gastric.. luckily, the food there made the trip there all worth it. There were so many items on the menu and all looked so good…prices were reasonable as well. Coz it was pretty cheap, we thought the portion would be small too so we ordered a few dishes to share.. chigau ne. the food came in pretty large servings and we were too stuffed to talk after that. I didn’t even finish the drink lo. Such a waste! But when the food came, I thought I was hungry but after eating like half of my rice, I was full liao. And the gastric became worse. Sianz. So for zhe’s birthday, will be bringing her there. Think she’ll love it! and to bu3 hui2 what I didn’t get to enjoy yesterday! Heh..

All must try… it’s really quite good. A lot of effort put into the design and concept of the café also.. only realized at the shop that Tong Shui should be pronounced in cantonese means Tang2 Shui3 aka sweet desserts.. HK style desserts. 4 words to describe. Yum-my yum-my..!

New year coming.. getting fat..whole day dreaming about bak kwa and reunion dinner’s chilli crab…

Food…Tabemono…makan…that’s what life is about.. ~
