had a date with my one of my fave actor,Ashton Kutcher, last nite! watched the movie,GUESS WHO at marina square..9.20 show...b4 i proceed to give my humble review of the movie, I must commment on the bad timing of the movie..my very smart fren booked the show at 9.20 when i gotta start work at 8am the following day..and marina square is so bloody far from the mrt,not to mention that Hougang isn't exactly near Cityhall.

well..amidst all the complaints,had a nice and real leisurely dinner (thanks to the poor timing of the movie and this is not meant to b sarcastic ok (-_-ll)..heh) at the esplanade.bought some food from the supermarket n found a nice spot to sit down just beside the river.Didnt really like the cat (or rather 2 cats) who was sitting 30m away looking at us eating our dinner..by the time the movie started,i was half asleep already.the mass playing of the ads b4 the show didnt help to keep me awake.Haha..luckily ashton (macham calling my best fren) came out in time to the rescue.he's so cute! tho i tink long hair looks better on him..

REVIEW TIME!this show is..how shall i word it...hm.bad i tink.boring n typical storyline abt a black gal who's in love with a white guy and the obstacles they tried to overcome..including trying to pacify n convince the gal's father to accept ashton.it's all abt the race n color thingy...typical..then of coz.it has to end happily ever after (if not,i tink i'll hate the show even more)...reminding me of the song:~ i love u ,u love me..we are happy family~

I suddenly remembered what my ang moh sociology lecturer told me about how she was so shocked when she was filling up some immigration form in singapore and saw "RACE" as one of the essential fields to b filled up.She didn't think much since it's for use at the customs at first till when any government or application,survey forms which she filled up also required her to provide the same info..Perhaps we singaporeans are so used to this pratice that i don't think much of it.Back to the topic, this movie is a real disappointment for me n ashton.I could remember how good was his butterfly effect! guess good acting comes with a good script la.

However, it's comforting to know that this show is still better than BE COOL...be cool really sux...despite the huge cast.it's so not funny.The only guy i found remotely funny was....*drum roll*...The Rock..
