Consolidation of what happened in the last 18 days..

My last post was on 12th Dec.2005….I feel so ashamed of myself lor.. hahaha.. shucks..getting lazy..or rather busy. Wow..lots to update.. dunno where to start also..

Okie.went on a short trip to KL with Sharon san n zhe san and sherri san. Was so looking forward to mega kaimonoshimasu.. but the stuff there really not nice this time round.not much sales also… so the other only thing I can gush about is the….food. hah.. it was kinda de javu coz we went back to the same roadside stalls and ordered exactly the same dishes as the last time I went with zhe to KL in aug. but it was still oishii…so who cares.heh..

Once we reached KL, we headed straight to Coca to eat the steamboat buffet! Yummy.. Singapore’s Coca no buffet liao so thought we shall eat our fill there.. we paid like $22 for really lots of food..both cooked and uncooked food. If I were to go back KL again, it will be for coca.

Basically, I only remember the food in KL. Hahah.. my biggest shopping expenditure was on my brother’s and naz’s T shirts and 3 boxes of tau sar biah. Haha.. still managed to change ringgit back to sing$ lo…not bad.

When I was back from the trip, it was endless amount of systems training after work till 9pm..company catered dinner for everyone and got quite sick of the catered chap chai rice style of food…quite oily though they make sure they change the caterer everytime if there was any feedback about the food..well, at least that saved me dinner $$ for a number of days la. Tiring. So everyday I just come home and feel like nua-ing, stoning or just do stuff that doesn’t require much brain power. Ganbatte ne. next wed will be the last training session!! Yipppeeee.

Oh..had suki sushi with zhe,Sharon n naz on Christmas! Oishii.. oh my god..half my blog is about food!

Anyways, a quick fast forward to what happened today. We had a mini seminar today (yes…after work…again..everything is after work..no OT!!) with one of my colleague who was outstationed in China presenting the work progress there and a travelogue about places she visited during her stay. Ok..not particularly exciting but good to know kinda info. And the most exciting has to be how the session ended. We sang Auld Lang Syne to welcome the new year.. we held hands and made a huge distorted oval shaped circle and walked to our left while we sang the song.. and we sang it twice. It was really funny and I couldn’t stop laughing….just like everyone else.. haha.. but it seemed like people did enjoy it quite abit. Guess it must be the common exhilarating anticipation to welcome the new year.. in a bizarre way.

Resolutions for 2006? Hmm..
Top of the list would be to do more exercise..been slacking too much and eating too much chocs..
2nd would be to do constant self studying for my nihongo… which seemed highly unattainable but I shall try.
And 3rdly, to be able to find joy and satisfaction in whatever I do whether at work or at play.. abit vague..but well, that’s how I feel.haha

And a hope for the year? A very beauty pageant answer : World Peace. vv
